Daywise Itinerary
Day 1 - ARRIVAL IN DEHRADUN – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Arrive at Dehradun Airport/Railway Station, where you will meet your driver and proceed towards your hotel for check-in.After freshening up, begin your Dehradun sightseeing. Visit the magnificent Forest Research Institute (FRI), one of Dehradun's most recognizable heritage buildings and an important institution associated with forestry. Continue to Robber's Cave (Gucchupani), a natural cave through which an underground stream flows. Later visit Sahastradhara, meaning "thousand-fold spring," a popular natural attraction on the outskirts of Dehradun. If time permits, visit Mindrolling Monastery or explore the local market. Sightseeing - Forest Research Institute, Robber's Cave / Gucchupani Sahastradhara, Mindrolling Monastery – subject to time, Paltan Bazaar / local market. Return to the hotel and relax.
Day 2 - DEHRADUN – MUSSOORIE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Mussoorie, located in the Himalayan foothills above Dehradun. The journey is short and scenic, allowing time for sightseeing after reaching Mussoorie. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Later explore Mall Road, one of Mussoorie's most popular areas, followed by Gun Hill, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Doon Valley. Enjoy an evening walk along Mall Road and explore the local shops and cafés. Day 3 - MUSSOORIE FULL-DAY SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Mussoorie. Begin with Kempty Falls, one of the most popular waterfalls around Mussoorie. Enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery and spend some leisure time at the falls. Continue towards Lal Tibba, the highest hill area of Mussoorie, offering impressive Himalayan views when weather conditions are clear. Visit Company Garden and then proceed towards Landour, known for its peaceful colonial-era atmosphere and scenic surroundings. Later return to central Mussoorie and enjoy free time around Mall Road. Day 4 - MUSSOORIE – ALMORA
After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic journey towards Almora, travelling deeper into the Kumaon Himalayas. The drive is long but beautiful, passing through forests, mountain roads and picturesque Himalayan settlements. En route, suitable photo stops can be taken at scenic viewpoints depending on road and weather conditions. On arrival in Almora, check in to your hotel. Later enjoy a relaxed evening exploring the local surroundings or Almora Bazaar. Almora is known for its Kumaoni culture, heritage, traditional handicrafts and panoramic Himalayan scenery. Sightseeing - Scenic Himalayan drive, Almora town, Almora Bazaar, Local Kumaoni handicraft shops, Evening leisure. Overnight stay in Almora.
Day 5 - ALMORA FULL-DAY SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour around Almora. Begin with Kasar Devi Temple, a peaceful hilltop spiritual destination surrounded by beautiful Himalayan scenery. Continue towards Katarmal Sun Temple, an important historic temple complex located in the Kumaon region. Later explore Bright End Corner, a popular viewpoint for Himalayan sunrise and sunset views, subject to weather conditions. Return to Almora and explore the traditional markets. You can shop for local Kumaoni handicrafts, woollens, jewellery and regional products. Day 6 - ALMORA – DEHRADUN DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey towards Dehradun. Enjoy the final scenic drive through the Kumaon and Himalayan foothills. Depending on your departure time, short sightseeing or refreshment stops can be arranged en route. On arrival in Dehradun, you will be dropped at Dehradun Airport/Railway Station or your designated departure point.
